RSVP & Planning
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by 1st December 2025 so we can have an accurate headcount for catering and seating arrangements.
Timeline & Schedule
What time can I arrive at the venue?
The gates to the venue will open at 3pm–30 minutes before the ceremony will begin.
What time does the event finish?
The event finishes at 11 pm.
What to Wear
What should I wear?
Think of it as dressing for a fancy picnic in a flower field: elegant but relaxed. The ceremony will be held outdoors in summer (likely warm!), followed by an indoor reception, so please dress for the weather. Formal attire is welcomed, but we encourage bright colours, florals, and personality; it's a celebration, after all! Light suits, flowy dresses, and garden-party chic are all perfect.
Venue Details
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony and post celebration is outdoors, and the dinner reception is indoors. So, please check the weather on the day and bring either, sunblock, coat or umbrella as your +1.
Getting There
Will there be parking?
There is limited parking outside the property and the area will be signposted.
Do I need to pre-book my transport home?
YES, transport home must be booked before the event. This is a country location, so transport providers need to book this in for you. Uber is not available.
Will there be accommodation nearby?
Guests & Family
Are children welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. If you're traveling to Christchurch with your children, some families are organising a babysitter during this time. Please reach out if you're interested.
Food & Drinks
What about dietary requirements?
Please let us know about any dietary requirements or allergies when you RSVP, and we'll make sure you're well catered for! Our caterers can accommodate most dietary needs.
Photos & Memories
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We've arranged for a fabulous photographer to capture the moments, and we'll be sharing these with you afterward. Your presence and attention mean the world to us, so we'd love for you to stay fully present and keep phones tucked away during the ceremony. Afterward, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like, and we'd love it if you shared them with us!
Gifts & Registry
Will there be a wishing well as a wedding gift option?
Your presence at our wedding is our greatest gift. However, should you wish to share a gift, a wishing well will be at the reception.
